Digital Storytelling in the Classroom
My digital story is about my quinceanera, a popular tradition in my culture. I would love to show this to my students as an example of what I would like for them to do. I would give my students an assignment to create a digital story about a tradition their culture has. It could be a tradition they do everyday, annually, or only once in their life. They could create a digital story about their own expereince or they could create a fictional story about a tradition their culture has. The students are allowed to use their own photos or get them off the internet. They could even draw their own pictures and I could take a picture of them and upload it to their digital story. At the end of the assignment, the students would present their digital story to the whole class.
